Human Time on Earth is Exploding

For hundreds of thousands of years, the human population was stable, numbering at most 5,000 people.  Agriculture, urbanization and science led to a population explosion And the rapid evolution of civilization.

When looked at in combination with the increase in life expectancy, the growth in volume of human hours to be lived is staggering.  Prosperity, Safety and Liberty are needed for more people, for more time.  Avoiding a humanitarian crisis will require expansion.
